How Mercer County Sustainability Coalition's Green Gathering is promoting sustainable living

On Wednesday Jan 24th I attended the Mercer County Sustainability Coalition (MCSC)'s Green Gathering held at the Cooper's Riverview in historic downtown Trenton, right on the Delaware river,

MCSC is a Sustainable Jersey hub with the purpose of bringing sustainability-minded individuals and organizations, including green teams, environmental commissions, elected officials, nonprofits, and the County together to network, learn and collaborate on sustainability projects of interest. If you've got an issue you'd like to advance, chances are, someone in the Coalition has experience with it, or can connect you with an appropriate topical expert.

Mercer County Executive Dan Benson was in attendance and spoke to the group about the open space pipeline, the open space tax model, bike and pedestrian lanes, among many other topics of interest.
