Don't Blink, a robotics team competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge, has advanced to the the World Championship for the 2024-2025 season!

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global nonprofit that empowers young people through hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experiences. Founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen, FIRST provides robotics programs for students from kindergarten through high school, fostering innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. With a mission to prepare students for the future, FIRST competitions challenge teams to design, build, and program robots while promoting values like gracious professionalism and collaboration. By engaging with mentors, industry professionals, and peers, participants gain real-world skills that inspire careers in STEM and beyond.

There are 9000 FTC teams worldwide and only 2% are invited to the FTC World Championship. This team has contributed almost 5000 hours to 40 events over the past year to bring recognition and importance of STEM education to others both locally and internationally.
This team has a long track record competing in the state and world competitions. They also happen to to hold the 2023 FTC World Championship Winning Alliance title and are aiming to recapture the title in Houston this April!

This season I joined the team as a Mentor, and I've been beyond impressed by the brilliance of this team. I sometimes wonder who is mentoring who!
💙 Support the team today!
As an independent, community-based robotics team, they do not have a parent organization to help with costs and instead rely entirely on generous donors to compete at the highest level. While they have earned a spot at the FIRST World Championship, they need your support to make it there! Funds are needed to cover registration fees, robot repairs & parts, and costs for travel, food, and hotel accommodations.
Every donation will help the team build a better robot, compete on a global stage, and continue inspiring future STEM leaders through outreach efforts. Any contribution, big or small, makes a difference in their journey!
FTC 14481 Don't Blink is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
If your employer offers matching funds for charitable donations, please request the match!
